Packwood Visitor Center opens Saturday May 30, Hours are 10 am – 4 pm, 7 days a week.

Area Motels and Campgrounds are starting to open. Dispersed camping only in the Gifford Pinchot. Campers please remember to pack out your trash and leave campsites clean for the next visitor. Food is available at many restaurants for take out. Skate Creek Road #52 to Ashford is now open. Cayuse Pass Hwy #123-410 is open.

CANCELED events are The Packwood Chicken BBQ, the White Pass All School Reunion, The Packwood Rod Run, The Mossyrock Blueberry Festival, Morton Loggers’ Jubilee, The Kosmos Picnic and the SWW Fair.  Remember to check ahead. With our close proximity to Mt. Rainier, Mt. St Helens, Mt. Adams, the Gifford Pinchot National Forest and numerous wildernesses sites, Packwood is your destination stopping place. Enjoy hiking, fishing, hunting, skiing, and the great outdoors along with the friendly people who live in the area.
